I’m so proud to say that I’m featured in Simply Sewing Magazine Issue 85. I got the opportunity to write about my experiences and achievements as a sewer, including how I developed my personal style and appreciation for sustainablity within the handmade community. I also discuss the making of my first sewing pattern The Petal Top which I launched earlier this year.

Final Thoughts

Although I have been sewing since 2016, I only started blogging in 2020. Starting is always the hardest part, I put it off for so many years because I wanted everything to be “perfect” before I started publicly sharing my work and story. It’s crazy that now within my first year I have landed two magazine features.I’m honestly so humbled by all the people that appreciate my work and are interested in my sewing journey. I will continue to share and I will continue to make!

Hi Lizzie, thanks for getting in touch! Those two pieces I wore are self-drafted. I do have a tutorial on how to make a bodice block, which should help you to get started on the shirt
